Brand Focus: 'Forever Living' - Aloe Vera Skincare

I am always intrigued and excited about new and up coming brands in beauty and skincare. So, when I was given the opportunity to trial and test out some skin care products by the brand 'Forever Living', the beauty fiend inside me couldn't say no. I thoroughly used and abused these products and are here to offer some information and friendly advice to anyone who wishes to delve into the world of 'all natural skincare.'

'Forever Living' is an umbrella brand focused on healthy living and lifestyle. Under this 'all natural umbrella' there is a superb skincare range that has really exceeded my expectations. Marketed as 'aloe vera' products, they are all based on the wonderful yet underrated ingredient of Aloe Vera - as it has a number of cleansing and hydrating properties and is overall a miracle worker (especially for those that suffer with sensitive or irritable skin)!

So, I have picked out three of my favourite products from the range and am ready to share all.

1. Aloe Vera 'Scrub'

This beautiful fine scrub really works wonders in buffing that dry skin away on these wet winter mornings (as you can see in the picture above!)  The exfoliating beads are microspheres of jojoba which means they are very gentle and natural but certainly get the job done. What I love about all of these products in this range is the fresh and clean scent that is so appealing when it comes to a face product. I don't know about all of you, but in the mornings I don't particularly want to be bombarded with an array of strong and pungent smells that can really put you off following your skincare routine.

This scrub isn't just for your face, you can use it on your body as well before applying your body moisturizer/butter. Also, at a reasonable price of £12.92 it really does compete with other natural skincare brands on the market, so it is always worth a try - as you might find that your skin simply loves aloe vera, which means these products will really work wonders for you.

2. Aloe Vera Heat Lotion

I thought I would include this gem as one of my favourites due to its rarity on the beauty/skincare market. We all love a good pamper and this product really can offer just that. It has the texture of a regular moisturiser but as the heat- developing ingredients start to work their magic you can feel it heating up delicately on your skin- perfect for any must needed stress relief or joint pain.

This product really shines after a good workout! Just massage a pea sized amount wherever you feel like you are particularly aching and it offers a nice sigh of relief from muscle and joint pain that you would only normally be able to get from a deep heat massage.

At a very similar price to the scrub, at £12.24, this is really a small price to pay considering the effectiveness of the product. Also, as you are rarely going to find anything similar it's always worth purchasing something that you know is going to be hard to find in other accessible brands.

A small price to pay to relief all that unwanted stress!

3. 'Sonya' Aloe Nourishing Serum

Now, for the star of the show - the serum. This product really was a break through for me, but lets start with some vital information. 'Sonya' is a luxury collection that stems from 'Forever Living' and offers a more luxurious range of products to those who it appeals to. It has a desired focus on it's 'anti-ageing technology' that appears throughout the collection, which would be a brilliant alternative to other similar brands that can charge up to  £100 for a vile of serum (crazy, right!)

The feeling it has on the skin is like velvet, everything you want from a serum. It's lightweight texture means it can be applied morning and evening for maximum effect. Ideally, it should be followed by a moisturiser and used after toner, however I used this serum as a base for my foundation and it worked amazingly as a primer!

With ingredients such as white tea and mimosa bark extract, this product is riddled with luxurious goodness for your skin. Yes, the price isn't the cheapest - but once again it is important to take care of your skin, and with price comes quality. I cannot recommend this product enough, any age and any skin type, this product really is a treat and you are more than likely to notice a positive difference in the condition and over all appearance of your skin.
